About us
With more than 20 years of locksmith experience, Ancient City Locksmith is built around three things that matter most to our customers: fast service, reliable workmanship, and fair pricing.
At Ancient City Locksmith, we believe choosing a locksmith should be simple. When you are locked out, need a lock replaced, want to improve the security of your property, or simply need professional advice, you should be able to call a local company you can trust.
We are a locally owned, family-operated locksmith company serving St. Augustine, Florida and surrounding communities. Our owner, Mike, is local to the St. Augustine area and takes pride in providing the kind of personal service that can be difficult to find with larger companies and national call centers.
Locks, keys, vehicles, doors, and security technology have changed dramatically over the years. Our experience lets us work with both traditional locking systems and many of the newer security solutions homeowners, drivers, landlords, property managers, and businesses use today.
A locksmith is often working with one of the most important parts of your property: the system that controls who can enter it. We believe that work should be performed carefully and with attention to detail. We work efficiently, but we also take the time to understand the problem and determine the right solution.
Ancient City Locksmith was built around the idea that local service should feel local. We are not a nationwide dispatch center — we are a family-operated business serving the St. Augustine community. That means listening to the problem, explaining the available options, and helping you make an informed decision.
Many locksmith calls happen during stressful moments — standing outside your home without a key, a car key that suddenly stops working, a tenant who moved out, or a lock that no longer secures a door. Whatever the reason for your call, our goal is to make the process as easy as possible.
Fast response. We make speed a priority, particularly for lockouts and emergencies, without sacrificing the quality of the work.
Reliable service. We're licensed and insured, and we bring more than 20 years of industry experience to every job.
Fair, straightforward pricing. Nobody likes surprises when the bill arrives. We believe in clear communication and reasonable pricing, and we don't turn a simple problem into an unnecessary project.
Local ownership. When you choose Ancient City Locksmith, you're supporting a locally owned business that understands the importance of reputation in a community like ours.
Good locksmith service comes down to a few basics: listen first, provide a practical solution — sometimes repair, sometimes rekeying, sometimes replacement — communicate clearly, and complete the work professionally. Our goal isn't just to solve today's problem; it's to be the company you call next time too.
Security matters, but you shouldn't feel pressured into buying services or products you don't need. Our role is to identify the issue, explain the options, and let you decide what works best for your property and budget — whether that's a simple lock repair or a larger security upgrade.
